Don't let this wall of text scare you. Trust me, this show will be very flexible. You will be judged on the effort you put into your art. If you want to include backgrounds, tiny details, and anything else that isn't the horse (and rider) itself, you can do that. If you don't, that's fine too! You have complete artistic freedom to make your entry how you want to do it. I only provided some guidelines for people who want to use them.

Rules:
:bulletblue: the theme is 'the sea' but it's up to you how you interpret it. (blue tack, seashells, seaside background, whatever you want)

Flyinge's Spring Festival - CLOSEDThe spring is on it's way and the flowers are blooming and the animals are waking up! Let's celebrate the spring with an event!
The event will be judged by effort! Training pictures and extra pictures will NOT give you extra points!
You can draw whatever you like! Even a horse rearing/bucking in dressage or a horse who refuse to jump! You won't loose  any points for that! Be creative, use you imagination! :)
And be colorful! The spring has so many beautiful colors! Why not draw some colorful tack? Maybe a pink bridle? ^^

Hello all! Welcome to Golden Oaks Equestrian! We are a brand new barn with lots of potential, and to start off our adventure, we are holding a schooling show!
For those who don't know, a schooling show is a show that's special for young horses or horses who are new to shows. The atmosphere is light and friendly, and the judges are very considerate of your horse's abilities!
DEADLINE: April 21st
Rules:
-No double bridles! This is a schooling show, not Gran Prix!
-Martingales are allowed, but frowned upon.
-Draw reins and side reins are allowed.
-Tracing is allowed, as long as you credit the original image!
-Linearts are allowed, but I'd love to see your own work!
-All classes are held in the outdoor ring, because outdoor rings are way more fun to draw!
-No pre-registration required, but put the following information in the artist comments:

There's lots of snowfall up in Eden, Cumbria on the Farm, so there's plenty for all sorts of winter games :D Dress up warm, join in and just have a blast.
You can show up first thing and stay all day, maybe go for a hack through the woods until your class, or just turn up for your class and then head straight off.
You can join the buffet lunch in the Farm Yard
1st Ann. HARPG Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo:new: CLOSED! Judges, you may begin to judge the classes which you have signed up to do! Entrants, if you are the only entry in a class then you can go ahead and mark that up as a 1st Place, by default of course, but it should help in registries and points for associations. Judges - once you have judged a class NOTE THE RESULTS TO ME ASAP SO I CAN POST THEM!! By results I mean the placing of the entry and whatever the score was out of the rubric ( Ex. 78 or 68.5). If you cannot judge a class please let me know why, and I will try to judge it or find someone who can. (and if "somepony" or "ponies" is written anywhere in this journal - I apologize. Apparently chrome decided it would be funny to convert the "ponify" setting over onto my journals...)

So this is a concept I've had for a long time, and its only now I'm bringing it to fruition. I am a personal lover of all things sketchy: there's something about that first draft drawing that is free and raw and flowing that can sometimes be lost in the details and defined lines of a finished piece. These mini shows are about showcasing the freedom and fun you can have with a sketch. Every month there will be a new show / discipline.

The Tournament event is hopefully likely to be an annual event, so it is definitely worth looking into. It is a great chance for your horse to win Grand Titles including events in both English and Western!
There are 5 to 10 small shows that determine the Grand Overall Champion.
Grand Tournament Champion (GTC) is the person that has accumulated the most points during this competition! This includes old shows, training, and the points that you won from the other shows part of this tournament!

Show Your Support Mini Halter EventThis event is to help bring awareness to what you feel strongly about. Everyone knows that the site of a pink ribbon indicates Breast Cancer Awareness and shows support for the cause. In this event, your horses will be sporting halters/bridles coloured in support of which ribbons you wish to show.
Each horse will be showing off a halter or bridle, in the colour of the ribbon that supports something you feel strongly about. A list of awareness ribbons can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_awareness_ribbons

Welcome to Goblindales mini winter halter fest! With winter well and truly here, Goblindale has undergone a big freeze, giving the stables a muffled fairy-tale feel. With the courtyard trees dressed in fairy lights, hot tea, coffee and soup handed out, your horses take to the stage. Be sure to bring your thermals!

How To Enter:
